Clara wrote a poem for Easter in class which she read out in St Peter's church. Rev. Chris liked it so much that he said he was going to use the ending as an Easter prayer.

Go and start again. Re-write your story. Easter is when melancholy ends and happiness begins. Easter is when a foe fades and a friend arrives   Go and start again. Easter is when a blood sea evaporates and crystal blue stream rises. Easter is when death is the shadow at your heels and life is the magnet pulling you forwards. Easter is when a daffodil is a blooming flower, not a weed When a nettle is not an aggressor, but a protector.   Go and start again. Easter is when trees do not groan and leaves to not sigh. Easter is when new life begins and new light expands.   Go and start again. Think not of the cross as a sign of death but as the symbol of everlasting hope leaving you a blank page to define your new life.

We went on a suprise weekend trip to Dunkirk in France. We caught the ferry from Dover to Dunkirk and drove to our hotel.

We had a lovely evening walking round Dunkirk with a meal in a restaurant overlooking the harbour.

The next day we found that most of Dunkirk was shut - and it was raining!  Still a nice walk along the beach (until Cam dropped him phone) before driving to catch the ferry back home.

Some history about us

We are mum, Chris, dad, Jon, Cameron - born 14:11:99 and Clara - born 29:11:02  Also, Amber and Dillon.

We lived first in Madginford - where Cameron was born. Then in Maidstone, Sutton Road, where we lived with Grandad Russell, Whisky and where Clara was born.

We now live in Aylesford: we moved here in October 2004.

Jon runs his own, very successful, web agency, Cam is in year 9 at Oakwood Park Grammar School; having achieved a 412 on his 11plus. Clara is currently at Aylesford Primary School in year 6. She is going to secondary school from September and would like to go to Invicta grammar school. Clara achieved 359 in her 11 plus - 1 point off the pass mark! She is appealing in order to be able to go to the grammar school. If this isn't successful she will go to the Malling School.
Mum works at Midkent College (:-() teaching public services.
